Fragments is created to express my comprehension after reading Chinese poetry "Fragments" by Bian Zhilin.

 

"Thing is Impermanence." I felt that there is nothing we can expect and control in the future, everything is in the present. People can’t stop the kite falling and I can’t control where would the painting go. A girl standing here drawing, the kite is flying, the sunset is coming and the painting hanging in somewhere, those are all different things. I emphasized the word ‘adorn’ in my work because none of us is the protagonist of the work. I am thinking about what is real and what is present in my work, at the same time breakthrough the narrative of the frame.
